IEEE MDM 2027: Call for Research Track Papers

Since its debut in 1999, the Mobile Data Management (MDM) conference series has established itself as a prestigious forum for the exchange of innovative and significant research in mobile data management. The conference provides unique opportunities to bring researchers, engineers, and practitioners together to explore new ideas, techniques, and tools, and exchange experiences. Building on its tradition, MDM 2027 invites original research contributions at the intersection of mobile computing and data management.

MDM 2027 invites submissions of original research on the management, analysis, and use of data in mobile, edge, ubiquitous, and cyber-physical environments. The conference welcomes foundational contributions as well as systems, applications, datasets, benchmarks, and rigorous experimental studies.

Submission Guidelines

All submissions need to follow IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript Formatting Guidelines. See templates here: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

The conference accepts two kinds of papers: Regular and Short.
Regular papers should present mature and substantial research contributions supported by thorough evaluation, while short papers should report promising preliminary results, novel ideas, work in progress, or focused contributions of significant interest to the community.
The page limits are
- Regular Papers: 10 pages, including all figures, tables and appendix.
- Short Papers: 6 pages, including all figures, tables and appendix.

Notes

- References do not count towards the page limit.
- Papers exceeding the page limit for their respective categories may be rejected without review. If there are any appendices, they count toward the page limit.
- The Review Process will be single-blind (i.e., the reviewers are not identified, while author names are listed in the submission).
- Submitted papers must present original, previously unpublished work and must not be under review or consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission. Submissions that violate these requirements may be rejected without review.

Submission Guidelines

All deadlines are at 23:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth) Time Zone.

Paper Submission Deadline:
January 25, 2027
Notification of Paper Acceptance:
March 25, 2027
Camera-ready Submission:
April 30, 2027

Proceedings

The proceedings of MDM 2027 will be published by IEEE via CPS (https://www.computer.org/conferences/cps) and will be included in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
